April 20 - Easter Sunday
We are having a wonderful Easter service this year and are inviting one and all to come to our service. You are also asked to invite someone to come with you. Bring friends and family with you. We will have a Sunday School for children that attend the service as well! And, there will be a time of fellowship after the service! Stay for treats and beverages.
April 27 - Holy Humour Sunday
Get ready to laugh! Come join us for Holy Humour Sunday – a joyful celebration of laughter, hope, and the resurrection. Bring your favourite joke, wear a funny T-shirt, or top it off with a silly hat—whatever makes you smile. Following the service, we’ll continue the fun with refreshments and fellowship. We’d love to see you there!
FOOD BANK CHALLENGE
In celebration of the United Church’s 100th anniversary on June 10, Rev. Walfall has challenged us to collect 100 lbs. of food for the food bank. Donations will be accepted until June 8, with the food being delivered to the Food Back on the anniversary date. A list of the most needed items is found on the back table, or you can visit their website at https://www.edmontonsfoodbank.com/.

For those of you who remember Helen Nicoll, there will be a Celebration of Life service on this day starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Bison Lodge (formerly known as the Old Timer Cabin) 9430 Scona Rd. All are welcomed.
May 2 & 3 - Glengarry Community Hall Garage Sale
Come and see the great items for sale and ensure you visit Pilgrim's tables at this event!
May 5 - UCW Meeting

CANADA HELPS AND ON PAR: Did you know that you can make donations to the Church even if you are unable to attend church on Sunday? To donate through Canada Helps, go to www.canadahelps.org enter Pilgrim United Church Edmonton in the search box and you can donate by credit card. Receipts are given right away. To donate through On Par, fill out the authorization card (found on the back table) and attach a voided cheque to the card and turn them into the church office and we will submit it for you. It is then withdrawn from your bank account each month. It is that easy.
CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS: The Bissell Centre is collecting Campbell's Soup labels from soup cans. The Centre sends the labels to Campbell's and in return they received funds to help with the child care programs at the centre. Labels can be dropped off here at the church. Please make sure that all the labels are from Campbell's soup tins only.
