Sunday, June 23rd, 2024 - Book Study
We will discuss Debra Thompson's book "The Long Road Home: On Blackness and Belonging" after services that day as part of our fellowship in the front room.
About the book:
From a leading scholar on the politics of race comes a work of family history, memoir, and insight gained from a unique journey across the continent, on what it is to be Black in North America.
Summer Study
During the summer we will be having a time of reflection and fellowship using the scripture as the center of our reflection. You are invited each Wednesday, July 3 – August 14, at 6:00 p.m. to reflect and discuss each episode of the first season of the series “The Chosen.” All episodes of the first season - an inspiring and well-done story of Jesus based on the Gospels - are available on Netflix or on the "The Chosen" home channel, https://watch.thechosen.tv/.
